Why do some newborns sessions take a max of 3 hours or longer?!

We would like to allow time for feeding coz during the photoshoot, most babies feeding frequency may increase due to energy lost through movement, organic posing, perspiration, pee or poo. Especially when they are hungry, they tend to resist from the poses’ styling. And spend our time to sooth the babies to be in their sleepy state for most poses styling in newborns’ safety aspects. Let said again realistically, it can be max out of 1/2 to an hour of intervals for us in calming some babies especially for fussy, touchy ones or etc., the remaining time of styling and photo shooting. Please do be patient with us while we are handling your little love(s) into their poses’ stylings.

Additionally, the newborns are getting more and more intelligent year by year. They are more aware of the surroundings, more impatience waiting for milk. We had been encountering most babies like to be talked to... Whether believe it or not they understand but some stay calmer when at times, we need to negotiate and acknowledge their grumbling...

We always hope to capture all the perfect peaceful babies’ shots; but of course, in reality, we are handling babies with all kind of temperamental moods; some can be very touchy and fussy. Over the years of experience, we do encounter awakening babies who can be in awareness and resistance mode; at times, we may require more time and effort to put them in the organic poses which some babies' situations may drag longer than 3 hours. Especially that we are handling them in transition of 5 to 6 poses styling, therefore we may prefer them to be at their sleepiest stage while we pose them in safety aspects.

And this is a link on a BTS of a 10days new little sweetie has stayed really calm most of the time and accomplished her 6 poses styling including her family (of 5) portrait segments in less than 3 hours.
